Alien Spectrum

Image Title: Alien Spectrum
Source: Viking Lander 1
Description

It is not just beauty that is in the eye of the beholder. Color is in the eye of the beholder as well. Evolution has given humans a set of eyes that are responsive to a particular range of electromagnetic radiations and we perceive those radiations as color. But how would a non-human creature perceive color? This image from the surface of Mars is a speculative rendition of the surface of Mars as it might be seen by eyes not of this Earth.
