May 05, 2006: Mars As Art Success at International Space Development Conference
As a part of the Space Art programming at the 2006 International Space Development Conference, Jim Plaxco delivered a presentation titled "Mars Science As Art Using Subjective Image Processing." The purpose of the presentation was to explain the digital image processing techniques used for converting imaging data returned by the various NASA missions to Mars into pictures.
